- Despite Downturn Clearwire Gets Xohm and $3.2 Billion
Clearwire said today that it has closed several transactions that will allow it to build out a nationwide WiMAX network, including gaining control of Sprint’s Xohm network and a $3.2 billion investment from several large companies.
- Blockbuster VOD Going to Blu-ray Players
Blockbuster will be expanding its on-demand video rental service beyond its own set-top box and into Blu-Ray players in the first quarter of next year, as the company goes toe-to-toe with Netflix over direct delivery of video content to your TV.
